Piston Oil/Gas Container

The containers are intended for the transportation and storage of oil and gas samples. Also, these containers are used in laboratory research to reduce the number of high-precision pumps and protect them from exposure to aggressive media. To isolate the sample from the displacement fluid, a piston with minimum friction and load pressure loss is used.

The piston has an integrated magnet to accurately detect piston position. The containers are equipped with needle valve for displacement fluid and a needle valve for sample fluid. The valves are mounted at both ends of the container and have protection caps against damage during transportation and handling. A transportation case is included with the container.

Cells for proppant conductivity studies

API-61 cell is intended for proppant conductivity studies. To perform a measurement, proppant is placed between the two planes of the cell. A cell modeling a fracture is placed in a hydraulic press. A prepared pre-heated liquid is pumped through the proppant pack. At a fixed compression of the pack, the following parameters are measured: pressure difference, flow rate and fracture width.
