LN1 - 500 – 1050 Large-Volume Plunger Pump for Laboratory Needs

LN1 - 500 – 1050 laboratory pump consists of one large-volume plunger. It is intended for continuous fluid supply without pressure fluctuations in applications where the necessary supply volume is limited and even minor fluctuations in flow rate or pressure due to switching between cylinders must be avoided.

Control

The pump is operated from a touch screen on the housing. Also, the pump can be connected to a PC to control the operating modes using software supplied with the pump. Pressure and flow rate data are communicated to the PC for display.

Application

The pump can be used in gas supply for gas pre-compression. The pump allows constant-flow or constant-pressure pumping. The pump also has s reversed mode to pump fluid out of the system in case of pressure build up.

The pump can be used for phase transition studies in PVT processes.

During fluid supply, the pumped volume is precisely measured, which allows using the pump for accurate fluid dosing. Wetted parts of the pump can be made of chemically resistant materials to work with aggressive solutions.

Main operating modes of the pumps:

  • Constant flow rate with pauses for fluid intake into cylinder
  • Constant pressure
  • Constant pressure difference by an external differential pressure gauge
  • Programmed cycles with changing a specified parameter (changing pressure/flow rate by a given value within a given time)

Technical specifications

Pressure maintenance 0.5% (0.1% on request)

Cells for proppant conductivity studies

API-61 cell is intended for proppant conductivity studies. To perform a measurement, proppant is placed between the two planes of the cell. A cell modeling a fracture is placed in a hydraulic press. A prepared pre-heated liquid is pumped through the proppant pack. At a fixed compression of the pack, the following parameters are measured: pressure difference, flow rate and fracture width.
